Coming Home to the True Self

HOMECOMING - Return to the SOURCE

Over the past weeks of the Christian Lenten Season, I have been reflecting on the True Self. To help, I have undertaken a study of Richard Rohr's book  ' Immortal Diamond' Our life long journey or pilgrimage ( in the Celtic Tradition) is to both recognise the False Self  or ego and to embrace its 'Shadow' and thus find our True Self.

I find ( and have found) the following quote from Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh very helpful, affirming and challenging.  In essence, the True Self is always there. However, our ego self can fail to either recognise or acknowledge this. Nhat Hanh's words of wisdom provide a pointer towards realising  and welcoming home the True Self.

    HAPPY EASTER
to all Travellers and Pilgrims on their Journey Home
